Bloemfontein Celtic have appointed both Lehlohonolo Seema and John Maduka as their new interim coaches following the departure of Serame Letsoaka.

The former club captain’s experience will be tested when Phunya Sele Sele take on Cape Town City in the Absa Premiership at the Cape Town Stadium.

Maduka is confident that his side have a good chance to beat Eric Tinkler’s side and walk away with maximum points on Wednesday.

‘The players’ spirit was nearly dented by our loss against Wits at home but during training, they seem rejuvenated and ready to win,’ Maduka told the Bloemfontein Celtic website.

‘However, putting pressure on them will be suicidal, hence we have been emphasising to make sure we focus on strategically planning for our opponents and somehow dealing with the players’ mental preparation.’

The Celtic legend believes that with the right tactical plans and the right mentality, Siwelele will be able to overcome the Cape side.

‘Fortunately, we already know each other and with the right tactical plans and correct mental attitude from our players, we will triumph. It won’t be easy, that I must concede, but winning is our main priority,’ he added.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
