Durban City and Vasco da Gama booked their place in the Nedbank Cup last 16 following their victories over Chippa United and Luthuli Brigades in the Round of 32.

Vasco da Gama advanced to the last 16 after they came from behind to secure a 4-1 win over Luthuli Brigades when a brace by TJ Diedericks and goals from Tauriq Dien and Michel Phigeland cancelled out Mkhabela Ntshuxeko’s opener at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

Durban City made their way to the last 16 after they secured a 3-2 pnealty shootout win over Chippa United after the match ended goalless at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban.
