Stellenbosch FC claimed a convincing 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg played at the Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Maroons opened the scoring as early as the 23rd minute when Kazie Godswill headed the ball home to make it 1-0.

The home side went on to double their lead in the 33rd minute when Lesiba Nku picked out Devin Titus with a spectacular outside of the boot pass before the forward beat his marker to slot the ball home.

The Maroon held on to their two-goal lead until the final whistle to secure a 2-0 win in the first-leg at the Danie Craven Stadium.
Stellenbosch FC will now travel to the Peter Mokaba Stadium when they take on Sekhukhune United in the return leg next Saturday.
