Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela is concerned about Erick Mathoho and Siphiwe Tshabalala’s match readiness ahead of their Telkom Knockout semi-final clash on Saturday.

The Glamour Boys are set to battle it out with Bidvest Wits in the competition’s last four as they continue in their bid to claim their first piece of silverware this season.

The 49-year-old coach say he is concerned that Mathoho and Tshabalala will not recover in time for their crucial semi-final clash against the Clever Boys.

‘The only thing we will be worried about is ”Tower” and ”Shabba”. If given an opportunity to play on Saturday, would they have recovered because it’s taxing to travel through Africa, but there’s nothing you can do about it,’ Komphela told KickOff.com.

Kaizer Chiefs will travel to the Bidvest Stadium whey they go head-to-head with Bidvest Wits to book their place in the final of the competition, with kick-off set for 15:30.
