Friday’s draw for Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia saw defending champions Germany selected in Group F alongside Mexico, Sweden and South Korea.

Host Russia were automatically placed in Group A and will take on the likes of Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and African giants Egypt.

Spain, the 2010 winners, will meet Iberian rivals Portugal as well as Morocco and Iran in Group B following the ceremony that was staged at the Kremlin in Moscow.

Brazil were drawn alongside teams which include Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.

Meanwhile, African side Senegal has been drawn against Colombia, Poland and Japan in Group H.

According to the November Fifa/Coca-Cola World Ranking, the toughest group is Group D which consists of France, Australia, Peru and Denmark.
