Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has indicated that he is unlikely to make major changes ahead of their next World Cup clash against Ivory Coast.
The German side are set to face Ivory Coast in their next World Cup Group E encounter at the BMO Field in Toronto.
Germany come into this fixture after cruising to a comfortable 7-1 victory over Curacao at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Nagelsmann stressed the importance of assessing player fitness before finalising his plans, while also warning that their upcoming opponents pose a significant threat with their pace and attacking quality.
“There’s no obvious reason to change anything,” Nagelsmann told reporters.
“We will sleep on it and see if everybody wakes up fit and well tomorrow, and then we’ll take a decision.”
“Their speed is one of their biggest strengths and that’s what I think they do best. During the last game, he was everywhere.
“We took some measures and prepared accordingly so we can take away as much strength as possible.
“We will not always be successful because they are just too good.”
