France captain Kylian Mbappe says Les Bleus are embracing the challenge that lies ahead as they prepare for their World Cup semi-final against Spain.
Les Bleus will be aiming to secure their place in the FIFA World Cup final when they take on Spain in the semi-finals at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has been one of France’s standout performers at the tournament, scoring eight goals to share the lead in the Golden Boot race with Argentina captain Lionel Messi.
Mbappe believes the toughest tests are still to come and is confident France are ready to overcome any obstacle in their pursuit of the World Cup titles.
“We’re in the semi-finals and we’re very happy, but there’s still a long way to go,” Mbappe told FIFA.
“We realise that what lies ahead is even tougher than what we’ve been through, but we’re ready to face anything.”
