Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente is expecting a spectacular World Cup final worthy of football’s biggest occasion.

La Roja will be determined to secure their first World Cup title since 2010 when they defeated the Netherlands in the final at Soccer City in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Spain are set to take on defending champions Argentina in the final when the two sides meet at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

De la Fuente describing the showdown with Argentina as a clash between two exceptional teams blessed with world-class talent and strong personalities.

“I think tomorrow (today) is going to be an incredible show,” De La Fuente told FIFA.

“We have two super teams that have a lot in common, especially in terms of having big personalities and highly talented players.

“Both sides, naturally, will try and play to our strengths but I think that both Argentina and Spain will be plotting a gameplan where brilliance, talent and good play shines through above anything else.”
