Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed confidence in his squad’s ability to compete with any team in the World Cup.
The Brazilians are set to face African giants Morocco in their opening match when they meet at the MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Canarinho will be eager to end their 24-year wait for another World Cup title.
Ancelotti has described leading the five-time world champions as both an honour and a huge responsibility as he prepares for his first FIFA World Cup match in charge.
“It’s a new experience, it’s a new responsibility to represent the country of football,” Ancelotti said.
“It comes down to two words: responsibility and honour. It’s a unique and very beautiful moment in my career.
“We have a team that can compete with every team in the world, we’re convinced of that. It’s a team with quality and experience, and with absolute confidence that it can compete with anyone.”
