Arsenal claimed the bragging rights in the London derby after beating Chelsea, while Liverpool bounced back with a win against Tottenham Hotspur in Sunday’s action of the Premier League.

Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal further proved their title credentials after they beat London rivals Chelsea 1-0 through a Gabriel Magalhaes’ goal at Stamford Bridge.

The win saw Arsenal reclaim the top spot in the league standings, two points ahead of second-placed Manchester City with 34 points, while Chelsea dropped down to seventh place on the log – level on 21 points with Brighton & Hove Albion in the sixth position.

Aston Villa 3-1 Manchester United


Unai Emery secured Aston Villa’s first Premier League home win over Manchester United since 1995 as they defeated Erik ten Hag’s team 3-1 at Villa Park through goals from Jacob Ramsey, Lucas Digne and Leon Bailey.

The Red Devils’ nine-game unbeaten run was ended and despite the defeat, they moved up to fifth place on the log with 23 points, while Villa climbed to 13th place on the table – level on 15 points with Leeds United in 12th place.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Liverpool

Liverpool bounced back and returned to winning way after claiming a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur through two goals from Mohamed Salah at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The wins sees the Reds remain in eighth place on the table – level on 19 points with Fulham and Crystal Palace after 13 games, while Spurs’ defeat saw them drop down to fourth place on the log on 26 points.
