Orlando Pirates captain Nkosinathi Sibisi says his side have prepared well and are ready for the Carling Knockout Cup final.

The Buccaneers are set to face Marumo Gallants when the two sides meet in the final set to be played at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Pirates will come into this fixture after claiming a 2-0 victory over Durban City when they met in the betway Premiership.

Gallants enter the encounter off the back of a 1-1 draw against Magesi FC at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Sibisi understands that it wont be an easy match and is expecting Gallants to fight until the final whistle.

“I think the guys are preparing well. We started the work yesterday. The boys are looking sharp.

“We know that it is a cup that has been eluding us for quite some time now, but we’re really looking forward to playing the game on Saturday.

“We know what we’re coming up against, a very good side in Marumo Gallants, but the boys, I think, are pretty confident.”
