Stellenbosch FC have confirmed their CAF Confederation Cup clash against AS Otohô will take place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Stellies have been pitted in Group C alongside the likes of CR Belouizdad, AS Otohô, and Singida Black Stars.
The venue was moved from the Western Cape to the Peter Mokaba Stadium due to the unavailability of the DHL Stadium and Athlone Stadium.
The Maroons made their way to this stage of the competition after they secured a 4-1 aggregate victory over FC 15 de Agosto de Akonibe in the second qualifying round.
The match at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium is set to take place on Saturday, with kick-off at 15:00.
“Stellenbosch FC will travel to New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday, 23 November, to take on Congolese side AS Otohô in the opening match of the Club’s 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup Group C campaign.
”
The fixture has been moved outside of the Western Cape due to the unavailability of DHL Stadium in Cape Town. Our traditional home, Danie Craven Stadium, and neighbouring Athlone Stadium, are similarly unavailable as they do not meet CAF requirements.
“Kick-off for the encounter is scheduled for 15H00, and tickets are available for R40.00 from Webtickets and Pick ‘n Pay outlets.”
