Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mfundo Vilakazi says it’s important for his side to walk away with an away goal advantage when they travel to AS Simba.
The Glamour Boys will face AS Simba in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary second round set to be played at the TP Mazembe Stadium on Saturday.
Amakhosi will then welcome the same opponents to the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto for the return leg on Sunday, 26 October.
Vilakazi recently gained experience representing South Africa during Amajita’s participation in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile and he is hoping that the experience can help him on a continental stage.
“Chile was great even though we were knocked out in the last 16,” Vilakazi told his club’s official website.
“We gained invaluable experience and I plan to use it here at the team.
“It’s important to score a goal or two in the match on Saturday to gain an advantage so we can finish the job in Joburg next weekend when we host Simba in Dobsonville.”
