Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando Da Cruz has admitted his side lacked aggression and struggled in physical duels in their defeat to Red Arrows.
Amakhosi endured a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Zambian outfit in their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round first-leg at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The Glamour Boys will look to bounce back and overcome their deficit when the two sides square off in the second leg on Friday evening.
Da Cruz believes Amakhosi can turn things around in the second leg at home.
“We played the first half with no aggression; we also struggled in the duels,” said Da Cruz.
“The second half was much better, but we didn’t create a lot of chances; we were much better in the second half.
“I want to congratulate Red Arrows on the win. We conceded one goal from a set piece, from a corner. But now we focus on the second leg at home because we know we can win the second leg.”
