Kaizer Chiefs forward Flavio Da Silva is looking forward to making his debut in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The 29-year-old arrived at Amakhosi on a permanent basis after parting ways with Indonesian outfit Persebaya.

Since then, Da Silva has made two appearances while scoring two goals for the Soweto giants, both coming in the Betway Premiership.

The Guinea-Bissau-born forward will now have the opportunity to showcase his talent when they take on Kabuscorp in the first-leg encounter at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Angola.

“We play for a big club so I think we just need to take a winning mentality into the match.

“We have only one target, and we are focused on winning. This is my first time playing in a CAF competition, so I am looking forward to giving it 100 percent, along with my teammates.

“Having grown up in Portugal, I know a lot of Angolan players, and how they play.

“They are very skillful, but we also have talent and quality, so we expect a tough game but we are confident in our ability to get a positive outcome.”
