Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Mfundo Vilakazi says his side should not give up on each other and work towards gaining success this season.

The Soweto giants are currently on a three-match unbeaten run in the Betway Premiership after their 1-0 win over Richards Bay on Tuesday.

Amakhosi currently occupy second place in the league standings with nine points from their first three matches.

Vilakazi is hoping his side can maintain their current form heading into their next league encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns next Wednesday.

“The love that the supporters are giving me is amazing; even I can’t believe it,” Vilakazi said.

“From their reception of me, it compels me to deliver on my end. I also ensure that I contribute to the team’s success.

“I believe we should continue to work as a team; as we play, we uplift each other.

“No matter what happens, there are still more games to come, more challenges, but we shouldn’t give up on each other.

“We must continue to do what we’re currently doing and the results will come forth.”
