Sibisi will be assisted by Thapelo Xoki and Mbekezeli Mbokazi, who have been named as vice-captains.

The Bafana Bafana defender has been at the club for the past three seasons since joining the club from Golden Arrows in 2022.

He has made 102 appearances in all competitions while scoring three goals and assisting a further two.

The 29-year-old has since spoken about his appointment ahead of the 2025-26 season.

“It is truly an honour and privilege to be named captain of this great institution,” Sibisi said.

“It’s a responsibility that I accept and promise to fulfil the role in the best way I possibly can.”
