Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has reiterated that striker Peter Shalulile will get his opportunity to play.
The Namibian forward was on the bench for their goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday.
Shalulile last featured for the Brazilians in their 2-0 win over Magesi FC in the Betway Premiership, in which he equalled Siyabonga Nomvethe’s all-time scoring record.
However, Cardoso has revealed that Shalulile will get his opportunity to play but insists it was not the right game to play him in.
“Peter will have opportunities for sure, the question is what kind of game you are playing and depending on the kind of game we are playing – Peter will be used for sure,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV.
“Peter is a player that in short spaces he is fantastic when the team is high to play short spaces, play in the box, he knows very well how to read the game.
“So, that is the Peter we going to use, Peter and everybody in this group is very valuable for us, we don’t reject no one and we just going to manage the right player, moment and occasion.”
