Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou says he is excited for the new season in the Betway Premiership.

The Buccaneers kick-started their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Polokwane City in the quarter-finals of the MTN8.

Pirates have now been drawn against Mamelodi Sundowns when the two sides meet in the semi-finals of the competitions.

The Sea Robbers will now turn their attention to the start of the Betway Premiership when they welcome Sekhukhune United to the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.

“I’m very excited to start the new season in the PSL,” Ouaddou said.

“We had the opportunity to meet our new colleagues; everybody is ambitious and everybody wants to make great things and we started last week with an interesting performance.

“I’m looking forward to the players with the stuff to keep going and to deliver a great game again in front of our fans, who were just fantastic.”
