Mamelodi Sundowns winger Siyanda Ndlovu has expressed his gratitude to the club after making his debut for the Brazilians.
The 22-year-old made his debut for Sundowns when he came off the bench for the final 20 minutes in their 1-1 draw against Kaizer Chiefs this past weekend.
Ndlovu is relishing the opportunity to get more minutes under his belt ahead of their next Betway Premiership encounter against Marumo Gallants on Wednesday.
The youngster admitted it was not an easy introduction given the magnitude of the match, but was delighted to get minutes and contribute to the team’s fight for a draw.
“I like to thank the supporters, the team included for welcoming me,” Ndlovu told Sundowns TV.
“The game wasn’t easy, it was a big game. It was my first game for the club, for it to be a game of this magnitude, it wasn’t easy.
“I was able to come on and help push the guys to get a draw.
“I’m really happy as this is an opportunity I’ve been waiting for.
“I’m grateful I got some minutes today, I hope I can get more so that I can help win games for the club.”
He added: “A message I have for Masandawana, thank you so much for the warm welcome, I promise to always do my best until the end of the season.
“Masandawana, we have a game on Wednesday against Marumo Gallants, please come in numbers and let’s fill up our first game at home.
“I promise it will be worth it.”
