Kaizer Chiefs attacker Inacio Miguel believes the team is well prepared for the challenge awaiting them in the Toyota Cup.

The Glamour Boys were edged 3-2 on penalties by Asante Kotoko after a goalless draw in last season’s Toyota Cup.

Amakhosi will be aiming to make amends this time around when they take on Zimbabwean giants Scottland FC in Rustenburg.

Miguel has expressed his confidence that Amakhosi’s productive pre-season has equipped them to handle a physically demanding opponent while focusing on imposing their own style of play from the outset.

“Evidently, they are a good side, quite physical. I think they will give us a few tough moments,” Miguel told his club’s official website.

“But after our excellent pre-season, we are ready for this challenge.

“We are concentrating more about how we want to impose ourselves on the game than about countering them.”
