AmaZulu assistant coach Siboniso Vilakazi says mental strength will be key in their Betway Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates.

Usuthu are set to welcome the Buccaneers to the Moses Mabhida Stadium when they square off in the Betway Premiership.

The Durban-based outfit come into this fixture sitting in fourth place on the table with 30 points from 16 matches.

Pirates, meanwhile, enter this fixture in second position on the table with 32 points from 14 matches played.

“A very tough one that we are expecting but we know very well our task ahead, which we need to do,” said Vilakazi.

“The good part from our side is that we understand very well what we need to do.

“The most important thing is mental strength that is working very well for us and that we understand what is expected from us.

“Mentally we are very strong and we understand the task ahead of us. We need to make sure that technically we apply ourselves accordingly so that we that we are able to get the result.

“No, it’s not an easy one and it’s going really well as you can see in the league, but the most important thing from our side is the mental part is the key thing in the game.”
