Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Takalani Mazhamba has set his sights on more game time next season after continuing his development at Naturena.

The 18-year-old progressed through the club’s youth academy before finally making his senior debut for Amakhosi in their defeat to Chippa United.

The goalkeeper also earned his first senior start, playing the full 90 minutes at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Mazhamba says he is focused on working hard and continuing his development as he looks to push for a bigger role at Amakhosi in the upcoming campaign.

“My ambition is to play more next season,” Mazhamba told his club’s official website.

“In the off-season I’ll be supporting Bafana Bafana in the World Cup and then look forward to training hard in pre-season.”
