Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi admits Sekhukhune United deserved the win but says it’s a day he would like to forget.

The Glamour Boys suffered their first defeat in the Betway Premiership following their 3-1 defeat to Sekhukhune at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

Amakhosi conceded a defeat when Bradley Grobler scored a double and through a goal from Thabang Monare, who cancelled out Flavio Silva’s goal.

The defeat saw Amakhosi drop down to third place on the table with 13 points after six games, while Sekhukhune remained in first place on the table with 16 points from six matches.

“It’s true it’s not result that we wanted, but we made so many mistakes that led to goals especially in the long balls as well as offensively we were not efficient especially in our progression,” Nabi told SuperSport TV after the game.

“Although, we created opportunities to score but we couldn’t convert them and it’s a day to forget and I would say the opponent really deserved the three points today.”
