Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gomolemo Kekana is relishing the chance to come back stronger after making his debut for the club.
Kekana made his debut for the Tshwane giant and claimed his first start for the club during their 2-0 win over Magesi FC.
The 19-year-old lasted 45 minutes before he was taken off and subsequently replaced by Thapelo Maseko at the start of the second-half.
Kekana was a bit disappointed in his performance but has vowed to come back even stronger.
“Seeing that it was my debut, I would like to thank the coaches that gave me the opportunity, thank the almighty, who gave me the talent I am blessed with and thank my teammates for all the support,” Kekana said.
“Sometimes it can go on the right side and sometimes it can go on the left side.
“I think today it wasn’t one of the best of starts for me, but it’s something I know I’ll get through. I’ll still be learning, still be giving my best and come back stronger.
“I was grateful to make my debut for the team.”
A debut to remember for Gomolemo Kekana as he shares his thoughts on making his first start for the Club. 👆#Sundowns #BetwayPrem #AreyengMasandawana pic.twitter.com/x4wILqRcuk
