Ivorian midfielder Isaac Cissé has completed his move to Belgian outfit Sporting Charleroi from Golden Arrows.

Cissé was one of the standout performers for Abafana Bes’thende under coach Manqoba Mngqithi during the 2025-26 season.

The 19-year-old become a key figure for Arrows, having scored five goals in 26 matches to help his side finish in the top eight last season.

However, he has since earned a move to the Belgian Pro League side, becoming the second player in the Premier Soccer League to secure a transfer to Belgian behind Relebohile Mofokeng, who joined Union Saint-Gilloise.

“Sporting Charleroi is pleased to announce the arrival of Isaac Cissé, who joins the Zebras on a permanent transfer. The 19-year-old Ivorian defensive midfielder arrives from Lamontville Golden Arrows (South Africa),” Charleroi said in a statement.

“Ivory Coast U23 international, Isaac is considered one of the most promising young players in his position.

“Powerful in duels, with a high work rate and excellent passing ability, he has a modern profile that allows him to bring balance and intensity to the midfield.

“Although very young, he has already accumulated valuable experience at the highest South African level and under the colors of the Ivory Coast U23 national team.

“With his potential and room for improvement, Isaac strengthens the Charleroi midfield and fits perfectly into Sporting’s desire to invest in young talents with high potential.
