Kaizer Chiefs right back Reeve Frosler has reflected on the challenges of being sidelined through injury.
The 28-year-old spent five months on the sidelines due to a long-term injury.
Frosler marked his return in style, coming off the bench to play the final 29 minutes and registering two assists in the win over Magesi FC.
However, it was not enough to earn him a starting place against TS Galaxy FC, as he was introduced late on and featured for the final four minutes of the match.
Frosler says the silver lining of being injured gave him valuable time to spend with his family before making a welcome return to action.
“Being out injured is no fun for any player and I’m no different,” Frosler told his club’s official website.
“It was difficult from that point of view but turned out to be good timing because my wife and I were expecting our second-born and being at home, I could help her around the house.
“It was a great feeling to get back on the field again, though.”
