Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando da Cruz rued his side’s missed opportunities following their goalless draw against Golden Arrows.

The Glamour Boys were forced to share the spoils with Arrows after playing out to their second straight draw in the Betway Premiership.

The draw sees Amakhosi remain in fourth place with 13 points from seven matches, while Arrows stay in eighth position with eight points from seven matches.

Da Cruz admitted his side missed chances to take control of the game in the first half before Golden Arrows finished strongly and threatened to snatch victory late on.

“We made a very good first half, normally we need to score one or two goals in the first half. But them also they had two or three transitions, they were dangerous in this situation,” Da Cruz told SuperSport TV after the game.

“In the second half, we controlled a little bit less the game, but we had again situations and could’ve lost the game in the end with the last opportunities for Golden Arrows.”
