Al Hilal Omdurman have confirmed the signing of midfielder Aprocius Petrus from Cape Town City FC.

The 26-year-old joined City from FC Liria during the 2023-24 season and has gone on to make 38 appearances across all competitions, while grabbing two assists in the process.

It has since been reported that Petrus has signed a four-year deal with the Sudanese giants.

Over the course of his career, Petrus has played for Eleven Arrows, Blue Waters, FC Liria and Cape Town City.

The Namibian international has scored two goals and registered four assists in 54 appearances in his career.

“From Cape Town to the greatest club,” Al Hilal announced on social media.

“The 26-year-old Namibian warrior *Aprocius Petrus* joins Al-Hilal on a four-year deal to strengthen the heart of our midfield.

“The entire Al-Hilal family extends a warm welcome to him.”
