Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has provided an update on Themba Zwane’s injury.

Zwane came on as a second-half substitute when he replaced Tashreeq Matthews in the 64th minute.

However, he could not continue the match and was forced off the field, leaving Sundowns to finish the game with 10-men.

Sundowns managed to hold on to their lead to secure a 3-0 victory over Magesi FC to move to the top of the Betway Premiership standings.

“Well, let’s see what is happening. As I understand from the doctor it’s not the same thing that he had before,” Cardoso told SuperSport TV after the game.

“Let’s hope it’s nothing serious. Let’s hope so.”
