Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says he will use their international friendly against Zambia to fine-tune his squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
South Africa are set to welcome their regional neighbours to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium when they meet for an international friendly.
Bafana will use this friendly as preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, which takes place in Morocco at the end of the year.
Broos has urged his side to take their international friendly clash against Zambia seriously and treat it like a qualifying match.
“So it wouldn’t be a good thing if we lost the game on Saturday,” Broos said.
“I will ask every player to focus and concentrate the same way they do during the qualifiers.
“Even if it’s not a qualifier, I will not accept players taking this game as a little holiday.
“I want to win on Saturday. On the other side, it’s also the last opportunity to call some players I want to see a little bit more closer.”
