Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams says the squad has embraced the changes introduced by head coach Pitso Mosimane.

South Africa will face Eritrea in their Group D qualifier at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.

Bafana Bafana head into the clash top of the group with three points after securing victory over Guinea in their opening match.

Williams has praised the positive spirit within the squad and believes the players’ willingness to embrace Pitso Mosimane’s changes is already evident in their tactical performances on the pitch.

“The spirit and the energy amongst ourselves is always good and we have maintained that,” Williams said.

“The guys have been open to all the changes that the coach has implemented and one way to see that is through the tactical agreements we had in the previous game, to see some of the things we worked on in training ahead of the game.”
