Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says his side have prepared well and are ready to give their best against Zambia.
South Africa will go head-to-head against their regional rivals, Zambia, when they face off at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Bafana will come into this fixture high in confidence after they booked their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
South Africa will use this international friendly as their final preparation before they participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Broos says his team executed his instructions perfectly during their training camp, and he believes they are ready for the match.
“I think that the captain was already clear about what happened this week at training,” said Broos.
“So, I am very happy after what I saw. You know, it’s always a little bit dangerous when you play a friendly game.
“But what I saw this week at training, that makes me happy because you see the guys are ready again to give the best of themselves and try to win the game.”
