Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos believes his side deserves to go to the FIFA World Cup in North America next year.
South Africa is preparing for their two final World Cup qualifying matches against Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
Bafana are scheduled to face Zimbabwe in the first encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Friday evening.
Broos’ men will then take on Rwanda in their final Group C qualifier when the two sides meet at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday, 14 October.
South will come into the encounter in second place in the Group C standings with 14 points, having won four, drawn two, and conceded two defeats in eight matches.
“There are no doubts, there have never been any doubts from my side, and I will try to transfer this to the players at a meeting we will have on Tuesday,” Broos said.
“I believe in this group and I am sure that they will do everything in their power to win that game on Friday.
“Why should we doubt ourselves now after our performances in the qualifiers? If there is a team that deserves to go to the World Cup, it is South Africa.”
