Amajimbos captain Kamohelo Mareletse is expecting an aggressive game against Japan in the Round of 32 in the FIFA U17 World Cup.

South Africa will look to secure their place in the quarter-finals when they face Japan at the Aspire Zone – Pitch 3 in Qatar on Saturday.

Amajimbos made their way to this stage of the competition after they finished in second place in Group A with four points from three matches.

Mareletse, who featured in all three of Amajimbos’ group stage games, has urged his side to remain positive ahead of their knockout fixture.

“I can say we are happy because the game will be competitive,” said Mareletse.

“It will be a good game, an aggressive game, and everything will be positive.

“I’ve seen them play, they had seven points and they went out as number one in their group but that doesn’t matter, this is the knockout stage

“We are here for one thing, all of us are here to win the trophy, so let the best team win.”
