Stellenbosch FC have confirmed that Faiz Abrahams has left the club on loan to join Israeli second division side Hapoel Kfar Saba.
Abrahams will spend a season-long loan spell at the Israeli second division outfit for the 2025-26 season.
The 20-year-old has only made two appearances for the Maroons since joining the club from Cape Town Spurs last season.
He becomes the fifth player to leave the club, behind Brian Onyango, Shaakir Ahmed, Liam De Kock, Ismael Toure, and Thulani Mini.
“Stellenbosch Football Club can confirm that forward Faiz Abrahams has joined Israeli second division side Hapoel Kfar Saba on a season-long loan for the 2025-26 campaign,” Stellies said in a statement.
“The move is aimed at providing Abrahams, a recent champion at the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with South Africa, with valuable football experience and first-team game time abroad.
“The 20-year-old joined Stellenbosch at the start of last season and made his senior debut for the club during a league encounter against Kaizer Chiefs in March.
“He also played a starring role for Stellies’ reserve team and was named as the club’s DStv Diski Challenge player of the season after scoring 11 goals in the competition throughout the year.
“Abrahams departs with the best wishes of everyone at the club, and his progress and development will be keenly monitored throughout his spell in Israel.”
