Wasps fullback Willie le Roux says he has had no contact from SA Rugby about playing for the Springboks again.

The last of Le Roux’s 41 Test caps came against Italy in November 2016.

When asked by The Rugby Paper whether he was hoping for a Bok recall in June, the 28-year-old said: ‘I’m really enjoying my rugby, but my focus is only on Wasps.

‘I am a proud South African and you will never know what will happen in future, but for now, it’s all about being here and contributing as a Wasp and getting us to another Premiership final.

‘Playing in front of 80,000 against Exeter at Twickenham last May was an awesome experience, but just losing at the end was a sickener and it’s all about getting back and winning.

‘That’s my No 1 priority and I’ve had no contact with South Africa.’
