Liam Williams and Dan Biggar have been ruled out of Wales’ final Rugby World Cup warm-up against the Springboks on Saturday.

Both players were picked to start the game in Cardiff, but they have been taken out of the lineup as a precaution.

The Welsh Rugby Union said Thursday that fullback Williams had a tight hamstring and fly-half Biggar had back pain.

Cai Evans comes off the bench to replace Williams and play his first Test. Sam Costelow takes Biggar’s place at stand-off.

Tom Rogers, who plays for the Scarlets, comes in as a replacement for Evans.
