DHL Stormers head coach John Dobson has announced his squad for their upcoming Vodacom United Rugby Championship encounter against the Dragons on Sunday.
Seabelo Senatla and Dan du Plessis return from injury for the DHL Stormers ahead of their clash with Dragons RFC at DHL Stadium on Sunday.
The Cape side host the Welsh outfit in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship encounter at 15h00, before the DHL Stormers XXIII take on the Seattle Seawolves in a friendly at 17h15.
Senatla starts on the right wing alongside fullback Damian Willemse, while Du Plessis slots in at inside centre. The only other backline change sees Imad Khan start at scrumhalf, with Stefan Ungerer and Wandisile Simelane providing cover on the bench.
In the forwards, Evan Roos returns after missing last week’s match through injury. His return shifts Marcel Theunissen to flank, while Ben-Jason Dixon is expected to make an impact off the bench.
There are also two changes in the front row, with Vernon Matongo and JJ Kotzé named in the starting lineup.
Director of Rugby John Dobson stressed the importance of backing up last week’s victory in Pretoria with another strong performance at home.
“We are back at DHL Stadium this week and want to make that count. Last week’s performance was very encouraging, but we need to build on that and keep moving forward,” Dobson said.
“We have got some quality players coming back into the mix, and we are excited to see how some of the combinations go in what should be a tough game against a good Dragons side.
