Vodacom Bulls centre Jesse Kriel will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after suffering an ankle ligament injury against the Stormers on Saturday.

The Bulls confirmed on Monday that Kriel is set to undergo corrective surgery later in the week and will be out for six to eight weeks.

Wings Divan Rossouw and Jade Stighling have also been ruled out of this coming weekend’s match against the Waratahs at Loftus due to concussions sustained against the Stormers.

Centre Burger Odendaal, who left the field in the same game due to an eye injury, has been cleared to play after seeing an eye specialist on Monday.

Jason Jenkins, Tim Agaba and Eli Snyman are recovering well from their long-term injuries, but will not yet be considered for selection this week.
