Lood de Jager will captain the Bulls in this year’s Super Rugby tournament.

The Bok lock impressed for the Pretoria-based franchise in Super Rugby last year, before suffering a pectoral tear.

Bok flyhalf Handré Pollard will be the Bulls vice-captain.

The Bulls have also confirmed their coaching team, under head coach Pote Human.

Former WP and Stormers flyhalf Chris Rossouw has been appointed backline and attack coach, with ex-Bulls captain Anton Leonard coming on board as a lineout specialist.

Pine Pienaar will be the defence coach, John-William Meyer retains his role as head of technical and performance analyst, while Hayden Groepes assumes the role of skills coach as well as kicking and kicking strategy.

An announcement regarding the newly appointed Bulls scrum and maul specialist coach will be made soon.
