Lions coach Swys de Bruin has made seven changes to his team to face the Crusaders at Ellis Park on Sunday.

Flank Hacjivah Dayimani will make his first Super Rugby start for the Lions after making three appearances off the bench. The 20-year-old takes the place of Robert Kruger at No 8, with Kwagga Smith back at openside flank.

Another youngster in Madosh Tambwe will also get a starting opportunity as he replaces the injured Aphiwe Dyantyi on the wing.

Centre Harold Vorster returns to the XV in place of Rohan Janse van Rensburg, while Dillon Smit will form the halfback pairing with Elton Jantjies after recovering from an ankle injury that has kept him out since August last year.

There are three further changes to the forward pack, with Andries Ferreira coming in for Marvin Orie, Malcolm Marx replacing Robbie Coetzee and Dylan Smith swapping with Jacques van Rooyen.
