Bulls flank Tim Agaba will be sidelined for four to six months after having surgery on a torn bicep.

Agaba suffered the injury while playing for the Blue Bulls in the Provincial Rugby Challenge.

In other injury news, No 8 Hanro Liebenberg is recovering well from his knee injury, but will only be available for selection after the June international break, while flank Jannes Kirsten (nerve injury) is expected to be back towards the end of May. Flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff is also recovering well from his meniscus (knee) surgery.

Flank Roelof Smit has recovered from his concussion and will be available for selection against the Stormers this weekend, while loose forward Ruan Steenkamp has completed his rehabilitation and should be available for selection for the Rugby Challenge team this week.
