The DHL Stormers resumed their Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign with a comfortable 36-19 win over Welsh side Scarlets at DHL Stadium on Friday.

The defending champions managed to score five tries, four conversions and a penalty goal to their opponents’ three tries and two conversions.

Stormers five tries came from the likes of Herschel Jantjies, Leolin Zas, Ernst van Rhyn, Dan du Plessis, and Hacjivah Dayimani, while Kade Wolhuter completed the four conversations and one penalty goal through Wolhuter.

Meanwhile, Scarlets scored tries through Ryan Conbeer and Tom Rogers and their conversions through Dan Jones and Rhys Patchell.

DHL Stormers 36 (29) – Tries: Herschel Jantjies, Leolin Zas, Ernst van Rhyn, Dan du Plessis, Hacjivah Dayimani. Conversions: Kade Wolhuter (4). Penalty goal: Wolhuter.

Scarlets 19 (7) – Tries: Ryan Conbeer (2), Tom Rogers. Conversion: Dan Jones, Rhys Patchell.
