Sharks and Springbok prop Lourens Adriaanse is set to join French club Pau on a three-year deal.

Pau announced that Adriaanse would join them from the 2017-18 season, which will see the 29-year-old leave the Sharks after four years in Durban.

Adriaanse has featured in six Tests for the Boks, and this move could quite possibly bring an end to his international career as per the new 30-cap eligibility ruling.
