South African-born Scott Spedding will start at fullback in one of eight changes to the French team for the second Test against the Springboks in Durban.

With several first-choice players from Clermont and Toulon available again after the Top 14 final, Spedding takes over at fullback, while youngster Damian Penaud will make his debut at outside centre.

Baptiste Serin and François Trinh-Duc will form a new halfback combination, while Kévin Gourdon takes over from Loann Goujon at flank.

Romain Taofifeuna and Yoann Maestri will pair up in the second row, with Rabah Slimani and captain Guilhem Guirado slotting into the front row.
