Cheetahs coach Hawies Fourie has made five changes to his starting lineup for their match against the Lions in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

Following their 40-13 defeat by the Vodacom Bulls, the Cheetahs have made multiple changes to the side that will face the Lions at home this weekend.

In the backline, Tian Schoeman returns at flyhalf after he was forced to withdraw from the team last week due to injury. Reinhardt Fortuin drops back to the bench to provide flyhalf cover.

Wings Rhyno Smith and Rosko Specman have been dropped and are replaced by William Small-Smith and Malcolm Jaer in the run-on XV.

Up front, flank Aidon David and hooker Jacques du Toit take over from Victor Sekekete and Reinach Venter, respectively.
