PUMA has added workout sessions by local brand training ambassadors Takkies and Shane Burnell to PUMATRAC, joining global ambassadors including Lewis Hamilton and Adriana Lima.

Fitness fans who sign up for the app on Google Play or the App store can select a trainer from a list that includes Takkies and Shane, and are provided with a session overview, with videos of the trainer demonstrating the correct workout positions. Users can connect to their Spotify or Apple Music playlists to train to their favourite jams, invite friends to join to keep each other motivated and schedule workouts for a specific day and time.

PUMA will run a training challenge on the app, so keep an eye on PUMATRAC to win.

“It is important to have recognisable South African PUMA faces on the App, to add some local flavour to what is a very cosmopolitan group of trainers, fitness fanatics and personalities sharing their favourite workouts,” says PUMA South Africa Marketing Director Brett Bellinger.

Takkies says she loves being part of PUMATRAC because it feels like your own portable personal trainer: “It’s on your phone so you can take it everywhere and you can train anywhere. Another great thing is that it offers so many different styles of workouts created by a diverse group of global athletes and trainers.”

Shane says PUMATRAC plays a key role in keeping exercise interesting: “Well we always have our phones on us, so now there are no excuses! The app is great because no matter who you are, there are workouts to suit all types of people which encourages everyone to get involved.”
