Maritzburg United communications manager Brian Zuma hopes his side can score maximum points when they take on Ajax Cape Town and Cape Town City in consecutive fixtures.

The Team of Choice will face the Urban Warriors on Saturday before taking on City the following Tuesday in a double fixture in Cape Town.

Zuma states his side are travelling with a winning mindset, hoping to walk away with all six points on the road.

‘We are descending on Cape Town with a six-point mission in mind. We would rather play bad and grind the results than to play as well as we have been, but walk away with a point or nothing,’ Zuma told the Maritzburg United website.

‘If our conversion rate can be closer to the rate at which we create chances, we will be very competitive,’ he concluded.

Maritzburg United will take on Ajax Cape Town on Saturday and then Cape Town City next Tuesday at the Cape Town Stadium in the Absa Premiership.

Kick-off has been set for 20:15 and 19:30 respectively.
