Bidvest Wits are reluctant to sell midfielder Ben Motshwari after the player attracted the interest of Orlando Pirates.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful 2015-16 season with the Clever Boys after finishing second on the Absa Premiership table.

Motshwari also picked up the ABSA-lutely Awesome Goal of the Season award for his goal against Chippa United.

A Goal source insists that the Clever boys are not interested in doing a swap deal for Thandani Ntshumayelo. ‘Wits are reluctant to sell Ben. He is one player who has been targeted for some time now,’ the source told Goal.

‘Yes, Wits want Bibo (Ntshumayelo). But at this stage Wits are not looking to part ways.’ the source added.

The midfielder has made 25 appearances, netting two goals and creating two assists in all competitions for Wits this past season.
